Carnauba Autospa Sdn Bhd, operator of a spa facility for vehicles, aims to get 300 members cars within a year of its operation, mostly large high-end cars.
The company’s managing director, Kumar Prabakaran, said that the vehicle spa facility, known as Carnauba Autaspa was the first of its kind in the country.
The spa which started operations last month, providing detailing and waxing services for vehicles, has already secured 30-member cars, Kumar said at the official launch of the RM1.5 million facility here Thursday.
Here, vehicles owners could have their vehicles detailed and waxed, and the membership is according to the cars and not the owner, as owner could have more than one car, he said.
Carnauba Autospa, also the distributor of well known car products, applies these products manually to the vehicles being detailed or waxed according to the type of material used in the motor vehicle, such as wood, leather, vinyl, rubber, chrome, paint and even glass.
Going forward, Kumar said the company aimed to have more corporate and club clients of renowned car makes such as Mercedez-Benz, Daimler Chrysler, BMW and Porshe.
“Some of our potential clients would be high-end and luxury car owners who are members of car clubs,” he said.
Carnauba Autospa offers a waiting area for chauffeurs and a lounge for ad hoc customers, fully equipped with light refreshments and snacks as well as reading materials and audio rooms.
Among other features are a lounge equipped with laptops for the internet use, a web cam system to monitor the progress of a vehicle under work, and even a reflexology and traditional massage services on call.
