More autospas in the pipeline - Malay Mail 28.02.2007

There will soon be more Carnauba Autospa car grooming centres in the Klang Valley thanks to the introduction of a service management system to be implemented next month that enables operations of Carnauba Autospa facilities to be franchised out to interested parties, especially for car wash services.

Customers would be given chip cards that would contain the necessary information about them and their cars. This would enable cross-referencing and networking between the two existing outlets now, and the new centres to be kicked off by the end of this year.

Carnauba Autospa's Kumar Prabakaran said the system would benefit customers as they would now be able to earn rewards for their loyalty. Kumar said the new centres, between six and seven outlets, are expected to be located in areas such as Bangsar, Kepong, Cheras, Klang, Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya and Hartamas.

"These centres would only provide the car wash service. We find that many of customers do find the time to send their vehicles for a polish but find it too far to bring it here each time it needed a wash. Thus, we are providing them a car wash centre closer to them, concentrated on where most of our customers are and as a move to grow."
